Disney's live action remake of Mulan tells the story of a young Chinese woman, Hua Mulan (Yifei Liu), who dresses up as a man and takes her father's place in the army. The new film is more realistic than the previous animated film from 1998 and receives the first PG-13 rating given to a Disney Live Action restart.
After numerous delaysthe new film will not be released due to corona virus concerns, but Disney announced that on Tuesday Mulan will be released on September 4 on the Disney Plus streaming service, with an additional price of $ 30.

Critics saw the film for the first time at the Hollywood premiere in March and published their first reactions on social media. The journalists' reactions were consistently positive. Here are some comments from film critics who were impressed with the action and story.

However, not every rating was positive. Screen Rant's Mansoor Mithaiwala tweeted: "There is a longing for films in #Mulan, but it is surprisingly stuck if you adjust the animation. It has its moments, but the poor villains and the inconsistent action quality lead to a mediocre film."

Satirical reviewer Ben Mekler has a different attitude: "Mulan is shockingly great? The music really works and there is an action sequence that the audience is sure to talk about for a long time. I would not dare to spoil it, but let's just say Mulan a devours million miles hoagie and when CG was used it was invisible. A +! "

The cast of Mulan is fantastic in the film. There are many small moments that nod the animated and make the fans happy. Very nice and epic cinematography. It had more fantastic elements than I expected. Overall, a great retelling of the animated and very funny 🙌🏼
