Mug Monday – Chocolate Chip Mug Cookie

When you want a super quick cookie dessert, why not opt for a 2-3 minute from start to finish warm chocolate chip soft cookie made in a mug and cooked within 1 1/2 minutes!

This is an eat now recipe, once cooked in the microwave then grab a spoon and eat it right away. This is a great kids dessert treat and good size for 2 children to share!

Ingredients
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
1 Tbsp firmly packed Dark Brown Sugar
1/4 Tsp Vanilla
Pinch of Salt
1 Egg Yolk
1/4 Cup Plain Flour
2 heaped Tbsp Chocolate Chips

In Mug add the butter, and melt ( not boiling just melted)

Add sugars, vanilla and salt, stir well.

Add the egg york to the cup and stir well.

Add flour, then stir again.

Add the chocolate chips, and give a final stir.

Cook in microwave 60-80 seconds, start checking for doneness at 60 seconds. Do not cook past one minute, just like a regular cookie, this will continue cooking as it cools. If the cookie is dry or cake like, try less time.

Serve warm – grab a spoon and dig in.
