I decided to make some blueberry muffins, à la Bree Van Der Kamp for you Desperate Housewives fans out there, to welcome in our new neighbours, and they looked so pretty I thought I would share with you how they turned out.
A quick and simple recipe - you can find it here - all I had to do was combine all the ingredients together in the mixer, put it in some cases, wait twenty minutes for them to cook and voilà, a sprinkle of icing sugar and they are ready to go!
They were definitely gratefully received and it's made me want to bake for people more often, such a kind and thoughtful gift and it really doesn't take too much effort at all.
