Much More Than Mediocre From Milagres ...

Brooklyn based, Milagres, are set to take the world by storm with their unorthodox take on the music industry. Don't get us wrong, there are bits and pieces about them that have most definitely been done before, but their versatility and charm, mixed in with those little unorthodox attributes, makes for a killer concoction that we haven't stopped listening to.
Though we won't go into an incredible amount of detail when talking about their older single, I Don't Need Your Love, we'd love you to take a listen (below), and really note the changes they're capable of making, and the versatility these guys have in order to be able to transit in such a short amount of time to this song - Jeweled Cave.
Jeweled Cave (though technically spelled incorrectly) is a brilliantly dark piece that surely has inspiration from the likes of Bowie, The Smiths, and other massive names from previous years. There's a nostalgia attached to this that, we envision, you won't be hearing from anyone new for a long time!! The riff, the aura, and the vocal all come together in something as though it was perfectly mastered in the '80s ... but still manages to fit right in with the current musical forecast!
The vocal, as you'll hear, is interchangeable and unique. The most similar voice we've heard in the past few years would be from the vocalist of little English band, Kites ... but, and with no offense to them, there's absolutely no way that they could outdo this type of track.
The presence of it all will really hit you, and despite the outrageously abrupt ending, the way in which the motiveness of the piece gets you right in the heart of it, will keep you going for a long while after you've listened.
Paul.
