Starting with a haunting piano, MT Warning’s  newest track “Petrified Heart” slowly builds from a melancholic whisper to almost celebratory crescendo. The National-esq only because of the baritone vocals, the track feels more like electronic influenced orchestral pop. With it’s addition of layers of sound slowly through leading to it’s explosive finish it’s a track that revels in the largeness of emotion and the catharsis of letting go. MT Warning has unsurprisingly been playing with the likes of Temper Trap, Circa Waves and The Magnetic Zeros – and with songs are fulfilling as “Petrified Heart,” it’s easy to see why.
