MSU TCTO Founding Anniversary Celebration

By Kaidarul @KaiDarul
Last August 4 was the first time in 6+ years that I was able to attend the Founding Anniversary Celebration of my dearest Alma Mater (kinder garten to high school), MSU TCTO. This time, I am not part of the studentry anymore. It was a mixture of nostalgia and excitement.
The celebration started with the town parade. There is a yell for each of the units for the parade and I am one of the judges. Afterwards, the usual program was held in the Jaafar Convention Hall in MSU Preparatory High School. I was also one of the judges for the bench-cheering competition which was really amazing. In fact, my elementary school won 3rd place in the said competition. Proud alumna here. :D College of Fisheries donned the crown for the bench-cheering competition. Had you seen their presentation, you'd be amazed.
After the program, each unit celebrates on its own. In this case, everyone under the Chancellor's Office headed back to MSU TCTO Campus in Sanga-Sanga. We had our sort of dry picnic just outside the Sabdane Building. It was also a time of giving back. Badjaos were invited to eat with us. However, I was really stunned how they did not make pansin our food. They don't eat chicken or anything with it. It was devastating. If you invite any of them next time, be sure to serve fish.
After eating, ribbon-cutting for two new buildings, Physical Plant Building and Registrar's Office, took place. It was srsly one busy day for all of us. However, we enjoyed naman. :)

Cuties from my elementary school. Proud ate here. :)

This kid has serious singing talent.
