Hello there! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was a little rainy for us, but we'll take it. We don't want another drought coming our way!
A very sweet lady requested that I make her hubby a birthday card and she wanted me to use Mr. Fix It from LOTV as the image. I was honored that she asked me!
When I do boy cards, I really don't like adding flowers. I prefer to keep it rather simple. I colored this little guy with distress inks and the papers are from the Tim Holtz Shabby Vintage pad. That pad has come in very handy. It has great patterns for boy/man cards. I found these super cute screw head brads and the little wrench is from a button collection. I add the sentiment in Walnut stain and the drug my paint brush over it to give it a wood burning look. All the edges were distressed with Walnut stain also.
I sure hope her hubby likes the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a great Monday!
Hugs, Dena
