Verdict: I Could Do An ABC of Awful

Story: Wrestlers vs Zombies starts with a high school wrestling event, where the Franchise Shane Douglas faces Battling Billy, but an accident in the match leads to Billy dying in the ring. We watch two promoters come up with an idea for a special event where one of the promoters just so happens to be the deceased Billy’s brother who has made a deal to avenge his brother.

Shane Douglas is joined by fellow wrestling icons Roddy Piper, Matt Hardy, Reby Sky, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Kurt Angle for a special show from inside an abandoned prison. Angus (Amherst) has built himself a zombie horde that he puts up against the wrestlers Douglas, Duggan, Piper as well as a couple of young wrestlers and ring girls who must them fight off.

Wrestlers vs Zombies is a film that on paper could work as we have seen ever single possible idea against zombies but this really does give us everything possible wrong in a film like this. Having wrestlers versus zombies would make you think fight scenes and just mental action, you would be horribly wrong. This film has a storyline that jumps all over the place missing important parts out leaving us wondering what the hell I just watched. This I think is officially my first ever NIL for story. (0/10)

Actor Review

Cast: Wrestlers vs Zombies has a mostly wrestler filled cast that shows us quite clearly that not all wrestlers should try acting. Granted Roddy Piper did a great job in They Live! This shows just how he has to pretty much carry this film even in a basic performance. The acting from these washed up wrestlers is beyond awful, I don’t include Kurt Angle in this as he only has one scene, yeah the biggest name only has one scene. The most part of this film has to go down as worse than dreadful for acting and flat out horrendous.

Director Review: Cody KnottsCody you let me down, you let wrestling fans down, you let zombie fans down, you ruined an easy idea of a film. (0/10)

Action: Wrestlers vs Zombies has terrible action in a film that is basically about killing zombies this gives us NOTHING. (1/10)

Comedy: Wrestlers vs Zombies I didn’t laugh once. (0/10)

Horror: Wrestlers vs Zombies uses zombies, well tries to. (0/10)

Thriller: Wrestlers vs Zombies didn’t make you care about a single character in the film. (0/10)

Settings: Wrestlers vs Zombies does create an isolated location which is only possible good thing about this film. (7/10)
Special Effects: Wrestlers vs Zombies has cheap, terrible special effects through out which I understand is part of the low budget format. (3/10)

Suggestion: Wrestlers vs Zombies is one you have to AVOID JUST STAY AWAY FROM IT FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. (AVOID)

Best Part: The Location work for a zombie film.
