Verdict: Great Horror Found Footage Film

Story: RWD starts as we meet two ghost hunters Chris and Ricky who are trying to film the latest show in the woods, as they start looking for the perfect shot they deal with all technical side and personal choices on the adventure.

The adventure takes a turn when Ricky the cameraman starts seeing strange things and hearing strange messages from Chris. The pair learn that the arranged meeting has been arranged wrong but it doesn’t explain why they end up going in a direction they never thought they could have.

RWD is a horror film that starts feeling like it is going to be a really annoying found footage film only for half way through the film takes a twist which turns the concept on its head and makes it one of the most interesting horror films of the year. We do have one constant jump scare which will get you every time but otherwise this turns into a mind bender of a horror as you have to work out just what is going on now. Another bonus is the small cast as we only follow the two friends which makes everything tick along nicely.

Overall: One for all the horror fans to enjoy
