Verdict: Was it a Comedy?

Story: Muck starts Noah (Draper), Kylie (Danielson), Billy (Ouzts), Desiree (Jacobs) and Mia (Francesca) all running from a horrifying experience that included leaving friends behind. The five find a house to re-group in but what were they running from? An injured Billy pretty much tells us they are in horror film and what order the group will die in and who will end up getting naked or not I am left wondering where this film is going.

Noah going for help calls his cousin Troit (Buchanan) who along with Chandi (Mohindra) comes to help who decides to have a few more drinks before coming to his cousin’s rescue. While he is taking his time getting to West Craven (Really, just what the hell) we see the creatures attack and either rape or kill the female cast.

Muck opens with a scene that makes me think this could be good because we know our group have survived some sort of horror, great. Then it all does downhill fast and we are left literally just having every single female character getting naked before getting killed, no suspense and the promise of two types of evil and all we see are crazy men trying to kill or rape our characters. There is no second evil until the last scene on the film. We care about none of these characters because they all get killed quickly or are total assholes. This is why horror gets a bad name, it does everything possible wrong and promises a different movie.

Actor Review

Lachlan Buchanan: Troit is the idiot cousin of Noah who is on a night out drinking when he gets called to help his cousin through their problem, he is in the middle of a date (I think) with his best friend Chandi when the three head to the cape. Lachlan plays the complete racist asshole who seems to be the only bloke with any fight in him.

Puja Mohindra: Chandi is the Hindu best friend of Troit who has to deal with all his racist jokes towards her including calling her a terrorist (yes this happens), she goes along with Troit to help his cousin. Puja is the damsel in distress I think she doesn’t do much but scream.

Bryce Draper: Noah is the one from the survivors who goes looking for help in a bar where he calls his cousin for help before running back to his friends. Bryce should have called the police and none of this would have happened.

Lauren Francesca: Mia who spends the whole film running around in her bra and panties even after getting to a house well actually two houses to be have shelter she doesn’t think about putting something on. Lauren has a nice ass but really is that why she was cast?

Support Cast: Muck has a supporting cast of attractive woman who get naked and killed, that is all.

Director Review: Steve WolshSteve really doesn’t seem to know how to do a horror film, not too often you can say that about a director but most know how to build suspense or offer something to the genre.

Horror: Muck is not scary (I am not wasting time explaining why)

Settings: Muck has one slight positive and that would be the setting but we have no reason why they are there or what is going on there.
Special Effects
: Muck has effects that include literally throwing a bucket of blood at someone, and horrendous camera work to try and scare us.

Suggestion: Muck is one you should never watch unless the sequels (yes there is plans for on) is half decent. (Avoid)

Best Part: The opening idea is good.

Worst Part: the rest.

Believability: No

Chances of Tears: I nearly cried this film hurt my eyes.

Chances of Sequel: Somehow.

Post Credits Scene: No

Similar Too: Pornhub

Oscar Chances: No

Runtime: 1 Hour 38 Minutes

Tagline: The lucky ones are already dead.

Overall: This is a painful horror watch for any horror fans out there
