Verdict: Misleading Cover
Story: Atlantis Down starts as we follow space shuttle which is a taxi between space stations with experienced astronauts Pete (Travis) & Jack (Haglund) with newbie Travis (Young) and doctor Sara (O’Bryon) doing research, we also have Mary (Grese) Captain Richard Castle (War) and Rachel (Flores) when something strange happens in space cause the ship to hit a malfunction.
With a flash Travis is left alone on the ship and the rest of the crew find themselves in the middle of a forest environment. Looking for answers the crew starts to experience strange events in the forest without knowing too much about what is going on when Travis finally gets through to them he must try to guide them to safety.
Atlantis Down is a film that was completely different to what the cover implies because that looks like this will be a film about space shuttle crash when instead we get a mind bending thriller. This doesn’t mean it is completely bad as we now have to follow our crew deal with their own worst fears. This is more about a thriller to make you think don’t be fooled into think this is about crashed space shuttle.
Actor Review
Greg Travis: Pete is the experience astronaut on the mission and once the crew get left in the forest must take control of the situation, he suspects Sara and Travis of knowing more than they are letting on as his paranoia grows. Greg is solid in this leading role without standing out too much.
Dean Haglund: Jack is the fellow experience member of the crew who ends up on the planet but he gets affected first with whatever is in the forest. Dean is solid in what is a supporting role really.
Travis Quentin Young: Travis is the newbie on the crew, he gets left on the ship to start with as he tries to figure out why they he has been left alone but soon finds himself with the remaining members of the crew. Travis is good in this role where he becomes one of the main characters are the film unfolds.
Kera O’Bryon: Sara is the scientist on the mission who finds herself with the rest of the crew, she tries to throw forward ideas to what is happening hinting throughout that she could in fact know what is going on. Kera is solid but does stick out if she is meant to be suspicious.
Support Cast: Atlantis Down has a small supporting cast which all are members of the crew of visions haunting the characters, they all help with the mystery involved in the story.

Horror: Atlantis Down uses elements of horror as the crew have to deal with their own worst nightmares.
Sci-Fi: Atlantis Down does use the sci-fi element with how this is will test your mind, but not in the space side of everything.
Settings: Atlantis Down moves the settings between the nightmare ideas for the characters but does get confusing with a lot being in a random forest.
Special Effects: Atlantis Down has a few good effects but the shuttle looks and feels very cheap.
Suggestion: Atlantis Down is one to maybe try late night TV would be best though. (Late Night TV)
Best Part: Final act.
Worst Part: Misleading poster.
