Summary: Childhood friends, Molly and Josh, decide to fake an engagement after hearing some devastating news about Josh's father. However things to from complicated to fucking cryptic once feelings start getting involved.
My Thoughts: Another day, another rom-com and here we are with a little flick I turned to on Netflix. One Small Hitch is sweet, it's cute and also very predictable. Over and over again are the horrible cliches that typical romantic comedies are susceptible to. However, most of the ones I see on the tube or Netflix have that little something that sets it apart from any other ones. This one in particular is the acting.
The acting is this was phenomenal. I don't mean it was Gone Girl, deserves an Oscar phenomenal, but it was way better than most of the rom-coms out there. The acting take this script, which again is as predictable as can be, and make it their own. It's real and quirky and cute. Very lighthearted and in all honesty, just a boatload of fun.
One Small Hitch isn't anything big, it's cute and fun and overall, like I said, better than most of the rom-coms out there, but nothing fantastic. So, you'll definitely enjoy it for a night in by yourself or maybe with a bunch of friends. Either or, you won't regret it.
