Mouth-Watering Monday #8

Posted on the 01 January 2012 by Thetravelingreader @travelingreadr

Mouth-Watering Monday is a new weekly meme started by Brittany at Nice Girls Read Books. As book bloggers, we love to admire pretty covers, old and new. This meme takes the guilt out of judging a book by its cover, instead embracing it and showing off our favourite finds of the week!

Happy, happier and the happiest New Year to everyone!

I’m so glad that 2012 is already here. It’s high time for us to start anew and take up lofty goals and seemingly difficult challenges. For me, every start of the year always brings with it a sense of hope that’s why for today’s Mouth-Watering Covers edition, I picked 4 books that signify fresh starts in the form of leaves and flowers framing the book fronts.

  • Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
  • Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns
  • Miss Webster and Cherif by Patricia Duncker
  • Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English by Natasha Solomons
