Moto E40 launch date has been revealed by Motorola India Twitter Account. The smartphone is going to launch on October 12 in India. A few days back the Moto E40 was accidentally listed on a Romanian e-commerce website that tipped detailed specifications and price.

Moto E40 expected specifications
As per the listing, Moto E40 will feature a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution and 90Hz fast refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered with a Unisoc T700 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Mali G52 MP2 GPU. It will come accompanied by 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone will boast a triple rear camera that will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth lens along with an LED flash. For selfies, the phone will sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device will come running on Android 11 out of the box.

Moto E40 will come in a solo configuration of 4GB + 64GB with a price tag of 779 Lei ( Rs. 13,600 approx ). The company will offer the smartphone in two color options namely Gold and Grey.
