Nadia Al Sakkaf, a Yemeni woman: one of those silent hero(in)es who you might not have heard of if it weren’t for TED talks and/or Wheatish! There is goodness in the world yet. I love it for the female empowerment bit, but also the general idea of bridging her country and her people with a global community. We need to be hearing more voices like hers in the Middle East and we need to extend a hand when we see people trying to bridge a gap as well. Watch and share! Happy Monday!
