Mother’s Day Restaurants in Glasgow

By Emma @glasgowfoodie

Don’t say we haven’t warned you.  It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday 6th March so think about the woman who makes you that breakfast after a hard nights clubbing, or mops your brow when ill and give her a day out to say thanks (or sorry!)

The Honours at Malmaison, Glasgow

We love The Honours at Malmaison Glasgow and they are holding a special day for mums with three courses from their specially created Mother’s Day menu for £35 including amuse bouches, tea or coffee and home-made fruit jellies.  Topped off with some jazz from their jazz band.  Running from 1pm – 4pm.

The cheeky chappy Jimmy Lee at Lychee Oriental is serving his a la carte menu all day for Mother’s Day.   Modern food and decor, an excellent place for food and cocktails.

With a Michelin Guide “Bib Gourmand” awarded six months after opening, Ox and Finch is one of the places to go to if you have a foodie mom and are looking for something relaxed and contemporary.

Winner of Best Restaurant Newcomer in the Catering in Scotland Excellence Awards 2014, Best Newcomer at The List Eating and Drinking Awards 2014, Michelin Bib Gourmand, Three AA Rosette’s, Winner of the title ‘Scottish Restaurant of the Year’ at the AA Awards 2015. The Gannet is where to go if  you really want to show off to mom.

Located in the Merchant City, Guy’s Restaurant has been part of Glasgow’s dining scene for a good many years. The cosy ambience and delicious food make it a winner for a Mother’s Day visit.
