Most Women Have Experienced Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment of women by men is a problem in this country. At least 60% of women say they have been sexually harassed by a man -- and that includes women of both political parties and the public in general.
And (as the bottom chart shows), most people consider this a serious problem. Adults in general, all men, all women, Democratic men, Democratic women, and Republican women all have significant majorities saying it's a serious problem. Only Republican men disagree -- with 46% saying it's a serious problem and 45% saying it's not. Unfortunately, it's Republican men who are in charge of our government -- which means nothing is likely to be done about the problem.
The charts above use information in an Economist / YouGov Poll -- done of a random national sample of 1,500 adults between November 5th and 7th, with a 3.2 point margin of error.
