Family-Friendly Renovation of a Brick Warehouse in Alabama
Architect David Hill, his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children live in an industrial building in Auburn, Alabama with an unusual past. Built in 1920, the structure has had previous incarnations as a church, a recycling center, and a pool hall, among others. The family embarked on a DIY renovation that transformed the site into a comfortable home, using recycled materials and found furniture.
