Most People See Trump As A Divider - Not A Uniter

The charts above were made from information in a new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between
August 17th and 22nd of a random national sample of 1,514 voters, with a 3.1 point margin of error.
Trump likes to claim he is a uniter -- a person who will bring Americans together. But the public doesn't see him that way. About 62% say he is a divider, 60% say he doesn't care about issues facing minorities, and 60% don't like the way he responded to Charlottesville. In fact, about 59% believe he encouraged the white supremacist movement with his inadequate response -- and 61% believe his encouragement of the racists was intentional.
