This chart is from the Gallup Poll. It shows the percentage of different demographic groups in the United States who are gun owners. The information was gleaned from 6 different polls taken by Gallup between 2007 and 2012, involving 6,103 adults randomly chosen from all 50 states (with a margin of error of 1 point).
