Most Americans View Michelle Obama Favorably

Americans like their current First Lady -- or at least 2 out of 3 of them do. Michelle Obama is viewed favorably by 66% of Americans (and that figure has been steady for more than three years now). And what's not to like? She has the best qualities of other great Democratic First Ladies -- the beauty of Jackie Kennedy, the charm of Rosalynn Carter, the intelligence of Hillary Clinton, and the strength & courage of Eleanor Roosevelt.
The chart below shows the current favorable ratings for both Barack and Michelle Obama. And both ratings look pretty good, although Michelle's are much higher. That is no surprise, since the president has to take credit or blame for political decisions he has made.
The charts were made with information contained in a recent Gallup Poll. That survey was done between February 6th and 9th of a random nationwide sample of 1,023 adults, with a margin of error of 4 points.
