Morgan Freeman has issued an apology after numerous women came forward with sexual misconduct allegations.
Freeman issued the following statement this morning:
“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent,” the statement read.
The women accused Freeman of inappropriate behavior or harassment on set, at his production company Revelations Entertainment, and/or while marketing his movies.
The co-founder of his production company, Lori McCreary reportedly witnessed one of the incidents.
