More on Facebook Timelines

By Lisa @Lisapatb
Did you know when your Facebook Timeline goes public on December 22nd your profile will be visible to the public? You don't have to be logged in on Facebook to see a person's new profile page. You have 6 days left to update yours before it goes public.

What does this mean? Everything you have as your favorites, like books and movies, etc. can be seen by anyone. It also shows other people with your name or a similar name like yours. You may view my Facebook Timeline Profile page here. You can change your settings under each activity or like to show only to friends if you don't want it shown to the public. You go to about you, about, and then likes on the upper left hand side. You can change your settings there so nothing but your name and cover photo will show along with others named like you! I left a few of mine up so you could see how it appears on the public profile.

So put a little thought into what will show up in your public profile page today and make changes if you don't want them to appear visible on the public profile for anyone to see.
