More Niagara Falls

This completes my current postings from our Niagara Falls sojourn.  The top image was shot from our hotel room using a zoom lens. I chose to omit the crest of the falls, so that this view would suggest water coming down from a great height. This night shot was also taken from our hotel room. The American and Horseshoe Falls were illuminated with different color lights over time. I liked the reddish hue. The Maid of the Mist is passing in front of the American Falls, which are generating huge plumes of mists. When you realize that the boat carries hundreds of passengers, it is striking how small it seems in comparison to the Falls.
