MoonPay, the supreme global provider of crypto payments infrastructure, announces its latest Hollywood joiners, as they are currently part of more than 60 glorious Hollywood stars who have before invested in an $87 million fund.
A lot of Hollywood’s most prominent and well-known artists, including Steve Aoki, Justin Bieber, Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, Eva Longoria, and Paris Hilton, together with significant Hollywood organizations such as Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, donated millions of dollars to the payment infrastructure company.
The news caused quite a stir on Twitter as well-known news pages and celebrities to talk about it.
Gwyneth Paltrow, the renowned actress and one of the MoonPay investors, commented.
“Web3 encourages the entertainment sector, and business in general, to rethink the way society is created, communicated with fans, generated value, and dominated by intellectual property”.
“It’s not enough to just hope for new NFT drops and hope for the best. You need more participation, which is possible through Web3” . Aoki, who was famed for his partnership with BTS’s the largest boy band, said he was announced to be part of the new members.
Michael Ovitz, the co-founder of Hollywood capital Creative Artists Agency, admired MoonPay’s technology as well, stating that it reduces the obstacle to access the crypto market.
MoonPay raised its entire valuation to $3.4 billion after earning $555 M in a Serie A round led by Coatue and Tiger Global Management in December. The site currently has successfully reached 10 million subscribers in 160 countries.
The best feature of MoonPay is that it interacts with other crypto services to permit consumers to buy cryptocurrency using a credit or cash card. This provides buying and payments on Bitcoin.com and other sites. Countless users and investors have been attracted to MoonPay’s global and easy approach.
Additionally, the service manages NFT transactions for OpenSea and is greatly known for easing celebrities Bored Ape buying.
