Last night my prince accompanied me to the Angel's Ball for Rainbow Hospice. It was a fabulous party for an even more wonderful cause. Plus, it gave me a chance to get a little fancy! This Tibi dress made me feel like the belle of the ball. The details are insane (this photo does not do it justice) with a floral design incorporating both cut out and individually sew on flowers scattered throughout the dress. It is like a piece of wearable art! Tibi is known for its cut out floral frocks, and this one is done impeccably. Its open back, cap sleeve, and perfectly structured design help to make it one of my prized fashion possessions.
A common print misconception is that florals are solely for the spring. I love bold floral prints all year round. I acknowledge that a pastel, floral explosion may not be the best choice this time of year. But I love moody florals in the fall, especially when paired with another print, like plaid or stripes. A more subdued, darker toned, less cheery floral print is HUGE this fall because it is a perfect way to maintain a standout, fun, feminine look, while remaining seasonally appropriate.
