Fantastic news that my sister-in-law and her family made the decision to move back home! They emigrated out to Western Australia last February, and we have missed them like crazy, we are very close and did loads with them; holidays, many get togethers etc.. So we are over the moon they are coming home, however, also sad that it didn't work out for them. But at least they gave it a try, I honestly don't think I would be brave enough, and I admire them for it.
Update on my trapped nerve in my neck - I continued acupuncture with a session each week through April, and it went really well - I am so glad I started it as I was hesitant at first, but Hubby encouraged me to try it. I also spoke to the physio and she confirmed it may still take a while before my trapped nerve settles down, but she gave me some basic excise movements, which hurt like heck and all it involves is me straightening my left arm out to the side and then up to touch the back of my head again - but because of the trapped nerve I cannot straighten my arm out.
Easter we had a quiet Easter - I really cannot do a lot of active stuff with my trapped nerve, but we did lots of art and crafts and Paul took the kids down the woods and skate park whenever he could. We also went out for the day to the local zoo and had a fantastic day. The kids got loads and loads of chocolate eggs, enough to last them for the year!
Jacob didn't get his first option for primary school, which is where he goes to nursery and was a complete shock. We can appeal but I am considering the options carefully - thinking of the long term, i.e. for when Summer also starts nursery, I want it to be the same school as Jacob.
Liam has started to go out a lot more with his friends, which is good in one sense, but I do worry, however I trust him completely as he is a very sensible young lad, but he is growing up too fast.
Lewis has shown an interest in boxing, so we have to find out about boxing club - he is really keen to join and start. He's also announced that he is keen on being a wood sculpture when he is older, and/or a carpenter. He has always been hands on, artistic, so this would suit him well, though he is young and may change his mind as he grows up.
