100 Black Men starting chapter in Prince George’s County, Police looking for two who robbed armored truck, County Exec. Baker pledges to hire more police officers, Hush-hush meeting on Sen. Ulysses Currie held by the General Assembly’s Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics
At around 8:02 am this morning, a Garda armored truck was robbed outside the Walmart in the 3300 hundred block of Old Crain Highway. Three Black men wearing ski masks were able to get away with an unspecified amount of money.

Since 2009, an average of 109 police officers per year have left the Prince George’s County police force. The current police force is comprised of 1, 526 sworn police officers but Police Chief Magaw says 1,800 are needed to handle a county of this size.

Sen. Currie was found not guilty by the court but that doesn’t mean he didn’t violate legislators ethics rules. I, personally, would be glad to see him and his ilk get the boot. He’s a bad representation of this county.
