Molly’s Best Dressed: The Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala

By Mollyfergurson @mprettystylish
This year the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute paid tribute to design visionary Alexander McQueen, who tragically passed away a little over a year ago. The exhibit is appropriately named,  Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.

Starlet’s, celebrities and socialites showed up in full force, dressed to the nines in jaw dropping gowns. There was a flair of the dramatic (it was reported Beyonce wasn’t able to get up the stairs in her gown without help) and the elegant, classic gowns we have come to expect from a red carpet event.I have to say, scrolling though the images at 7am the next morning – there was no doubt in my mind who the best dressed of the night was. Ashley Olson – co owner of luxury brand The Row, absolutely nailed it. She walked the red carpet in a vintage Christian Dior gown that was part classic glamour, part drama (those sleeves!!). See below for photo of Molly’s Best Dressed, as well all the runner’s up.
