Mission Drawing Guide

By Kathybarbro @KathyBarbro
Many California students are learning about missions this time of year, so I thought I’d like to share some more details about my drawing guide in my PDF Store.
Years ago I discovered that students could draw some amazing buildings if they started with a grid. It really helped them concentrate on architectural features without struggling with a ruler. That process translated well to mission drawings, but the trouble was finding photos that were clear and easy to see. To solve the problem, I researched each mission and made a simple front view line drawing. Just print the blank grid included on brown paper, and see what your students can do. Black markers and pencil crayons finish the look.
As an additional option, each mission is also available without the grid to make a simple coloring page. To purchase this ebook, please visit my PDF Store HERE.
