Miss Bala

A beautiful, impoverished young woman longs to win the Tijuana beauty and does see her dream fulfilled, although its unfortunately at the hands of the ruthless cartel members she unluckily happens upon, who use her as both bait for their criminal enterprises and a sex slave for their own personal devices. "Miss Bala" is an unrelenting exercise in realism, which features a fine performance from Stephanie Sigman, and had me all the way up until its way too fanciful ending.
