Mirror Images!

By Therelishedroost

I havebeen a bit obsessed over the past year with mirrored walls! Whether they are walls, alcoves, stairways, or over fireplaces, I love full on mirrors!! Especiallyantique mirrors. They have a subtle smoky quality, which takes away from thatjarring new mirror 70's look of the past.  There are so many places to place mirroredwalls such as above mantels and fireplace surrounds, walls of a small powderrooms, back splash of galley kitchens or butler’s pantries, behind bookshelvesand in alcoves. The possibilities are endless, but the only draw back is thecost depending on your glass fabricator. If you cannot afford large mirroredsheets there are options such as tiles! There are an array of sizes and styles such assubway, diamond and even large squares, and if you feel handy you can DIY asmall project! If at all hesitant leave it to the professionals, good luck! Explore the world of mirrors they’re not justfor framing anymore!
