I have recently started to looking for a new condo near the Sukhumvit line, as my contract ends where I am living now and I want to move. I was told about the Mint Residence, which is located in Bangchak. For anyone who has never been to BangChak, it’s pretty much has nothing going for it other than it’s a BTS stop and it’s quite close to On-Nut. There’s a lot of street food and one massage shop, other than that, there would be no reason to stay there. I have lived in the area before for a few months, it’s a cool spot if you want to do nothing and save money.
Mint Residence is located on Sukhumvit 97/1 and you will need to get either a taxi or a motorcycle (10 baht) to the place. Mint Residence is really deep into the Soi and it will take you around 10 to walk there.
They offer a month to month contract along with long-term stays with discount. The prices can be found below so I won’t mention too much about it. The condo itself looked very clean and new, but that’s as much as I can say about it. There’s nothing in walking distance expect for a mini-mart next door. It’s located in a quiet Soi and I had to wait over 10 minutes for a motorcycle to drop me back onto Sukhumvit.
If you don’t mind the location, Mint Residence is a pretty nice place, the rooms are bright and comes with a mounted flat screen TV, bed sheets and a sofa. I ended up against staying here just because of the location, I would be annoyed to have to wait all the time to get out to the BTS and I don’t fancy walking each time either.
