Plot: Night shift cab driver Eddie Carter wakes up next to a dead woman. Suffering from sleepwalking, he investigates to find the killer, exploring London’s seedy underbelly, fearing he might be the culprit.

Story: Midnight Taxi starts when London cab driver Eddie (Emeruwa) goes about his daily night shifts. He keeps his job simple and gets on with his fellow drivers. However, one night, he discovers the body of a dead woman on the street. He struggles to come to terms with the incident and doesn’t see any stories about the incident.
Eddie tries to get back to his normal routine but finds himself suffering nightmares. Each one becomes more of a nightmare, leading to him questioning his reality and what has been going on overnight in London.
Verdict on Midnight Taxi
Midnight Taxi is a horror thriller following a London cabbie who suffers from disturbing nightmares after discovering a dead body. He wants to learn more about the victim, which leads him down a dangerous path of the underbelly of London life.
This movie dives into the struggles of working through the nights in London. It shows one man struggling to deal with discovering a body and wanting to know more, before questioning everything around him. The idea that somebody could turn amateur sleuth, while not getting enough sleep shows the horrors of the job. This presents an interesting mystery and watching it unfold is interesting. It uses the emptiness of night that London provides and Ladi Emeruwa gives us a great performance throughout the movie.
