that Vincent Lavendar story, one of the best things I've ever written, and so early in what can loosely be called 'my writing career'.
It's set in Victorian London on the day our 'hero' is sacked from his job, and it contains a 'literarl plethora' of sleazy decaying rampant puke-inducing sex-scenes with pig-headed whores and the like.
It's been one of the most well received short stories I've ever shat from the creativorifice.
Got a note through from MIDNIGHT IN HELL editor George Houston that he's put together a THE BEST OF compilation; thirty years of horror fiction and art publishing. Everybody in the horror industry knows Midnight in Hell. It's one of the old-school classics.
And I'm in it:
Vincent Lavendar, short story.
