Mid Summer Shopping
By Shanlakes
July and August are the two months I tend to do my bathing suit shopping for the entire year. Whenever I go on winter or spring break the market for cute bikinis is very limited. Most of the lines come out with their best lines at this time, so make sure to take advantage of it! The flowy bikini at the bottom middle has been one of the biggest trends of the entire summer. Not only is it super stylish, it is one of the most flattering styles of bikinis on EVERYONE who tries it on!

Although I should seriously consider taking my own advice here, it is crucial to have "polished" and finished outfits ready to go at all times in your closet. You never know when you are going to need to put together a last minute killer outfit. Special occasions, important meetings, events, etc. come up from nowhere, and trust me when I say people can tell the different between a complete outfit and two things that were more or less thrown together.

A maxi is the perfect way to rock a "polished" look as we talked about above. All you have to do is add a cute purse and minimal jewelry to complete a maxi look. Also, there is nothing more stylish, effortless, and flattering than a good maxi. Make sure to have your closet stocked with these come July, August and September.

This trend does not seem to be going away. The good news is, all your summer distressed denim will transition perfectly into fall. I've seen some sneak peeks of Fall Look books and distressed denim is going to be paired with booties and sweaters all Fall and Winter long.

I consider easy-to-wear tops, tops that go with just about anything. As you can see in the pictures above they are paired with jeans, skirts, cargo, leather pants, distressed denim, leggings, etc. It is important to have a good amount of easy-to-wear tops in your wardrobe that are interchangeable with your various bottoms.
