New Japanese restaurant in CP added glory
Come and think of it. A Bengali who lived in japan for more than 20 years, returns back - settles in Kolkata - opens the first authentic Japanese restaurant chain Aoi, which has an excellent combination of modern and traditional Japanese cuisine from sushi/shashmi to tepenyaki grill.
Palash Banerjee is one passionate business guy who lived on Japanese food has now opened his first Japanese restaurant Fuji in already booming CP. Located at inner circle, this place has traditional Japanese seating along with tepenyaki grill. While talking to us he shared – his love for Japanese food goes long back and he also feels that Delhi doesn’t offer much in terms of Japanese cuisines outside five star hotels. This two level restaurant not only serves sushi and shashmi but also offers variety of food from their tepenyaki section.
J W Marriott turns one
Fun, frolic and laughter is what we saw at the JW Marriott Aerocity's 1st Anniversary celebration on 15th October 2014. Antony Page, the General Manager was seen enjoying the results of all the efforts and hard work he had put in last 6 months to add his touch to maintain the reputation and quality of this luxurious hotel. It was a very private get together and that is what we liked about it. Girish Krishnan, the Executive chef was juggling between the event and the busy K3 kitchens. Though there was a buffet dinner arranged from Akira back and all the 3 kitchens of K3( Indian, oriental and italian), we loved the finger foods more, which was brought to us by the servers every now and then. Cocktails and desserts were the highlight of the party and special mention to the live band that added to the mood and ambiance with their soothing numbers.Congratulations once again and we wish many more years of success to JW Aerocity.
