We recently saw that Miis in Super Smash Bros. could dress up in Nintendo character costumes, and in the screenshot revealed for that information we saw a Mii dressed as Meta Knight. But Meta Knight isn’t a Super Smash Bros. character, right? Not anymore: Nintendo have revealed that Meta Knight himself will be in the game, not just his costume.
Nintendo revealed Meta Knight on their Twitter page. He was last seen in battle in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii, and he’s now back for the 3DS and Wii U versions of the new game.
Meta Knight and everyone else will first be seen in the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros, which releases in October. The Super Smash Bros. Wii U release date is Winter 2015. For everything Super Smash, from screenshots to trailers, check out our great Nintendo channel.
