Merry Christmas, Readers! (What's Ahead for 2017)

Merry Christmas, guys! I hope your 2016 was filled with lots of fun, experiences and laughter. Sure, there are always bumps in the road, but I try to be thankful for the highs even when I'm in the middle of a low.

2016 was a crazy year for me! I released 5 books this year: State of Destruction, State of Fear, Bravo: Apocalypse Mission, Bravo: Blood Road and Unbreakable SEAL. I also got married this Fall, to my loving and wonderful husband whom without, I would most likely be one very unhappy camper. He's been a real blessing in my life, and I'm so proud of the man he is today. Not to get mushy, but there you go. I have lots of feelings, okay? 

So what is ahead for 2017? 

Summer Lane will continue to write. You can expect at least two more releases next year: State of Allegiance and the final installment in Collapse, State of Hope. I will also be working on a project or two on the side, one for readers and one exclusively for lit agents. 

I will continue to feature new and upcoming authors here on Writing Belle - which I'm very excited about, by the way! I am taking some time off this holiday season to rest from the busy, amazingly hectic, difficult and yet wonderful year of 2016. 

Writing Belle will return with more articles and features on January 2nd, 2017, after our annual Christmas/New Year's hiatus.
