Merry Christmas!
24.12.16A not-3pm Christmas speech.
Happy Christmas Eve, you wonderful bunch!
I hadn't planned on sharing a post today but I'm (im)patiently waiting for lunch to cook before I continue my day of festive rampage, and thought I'd settle down in a quiet corner of our house and spread some Christmas joy.
This year, Christmas is hosted at our house and our lounge and dining room are huge works in progress for receiving guests tomorrow! It'll be our first Christmas without Granny Daisy but our first with cutie Milo pup. Strangely enough, it's always Christmas Eve that I feel lacking in festive spirit after a month-long build-up. Odd, really. So today I plan to eat lots of food, spike my coffees with rum and Baileys (not together!) and tick off even more Christmas films from our obligatory list. We're also planning on eagerly watching Michael McIntyre's Big Show this evening, as my brother, sister and I went to the recording of it back in October and we *might* have a TV spot, heh!
With all of that said and done, I'd like to wish you lovely lot the best Christmas ever! And if you don't celebrate it, I wish you a wonderfully relaxed 25th December, wherever you are in the world. I can't wait to be snuggled up in my Christmas pajamas (of course Babybutter and I match!) surrounded by my loved ones. I'll see you on the other side of a food coma!
