India is a country of sensory overload: warm colors, haze and wood-smoke filled streets, horn beeps and wandering cows, mounds of flowers offered to the gods, and the smell of spices permeating the air.
Most dominant are the colors. They are everywhere, brightening life in all its forms. So . . . as a (mostly) black-and-white photographer, I was truly in a foreign land.
As with all forms of inspiration, it is best to seek the essence—to find the soul of your journey. And, so I did. Seeing the colors of India in my own way.

I am happy to announce the launch of Eye Prefer Paris Cooking Classes. Come take an ethnic culinary journey with me and chef and caterer Charlotte Puckette, co-author of the bestseller The Ethnic Paris Cookbook (with Olivia Kiang-Snaije). First we will shop at a Paris green-market for the freshest ingredients and then return to Charlotte's professional kitchen near the Eiffel Tower to cook a three-course lunch. After, we will indulge in the delicious feast we prepared along with hand-selected wines.
