I used to think that boys only need the basics: running shoes, a dress shoe and a driver but let me just go ahead and retract the fact that I ever thought that. Again, I am married to a men’s shoe fanatic and I have learned that boys need want (just about) as many shoes as girls. Funny I know. It’s true though…the left side (his side) of the closet speaks for itself.
I will say that the one thing that is a HUGE difference when I shop for shoes and when he shops for his shoes is time. I love nothing more than strolling around the department, picking up almost every shoe and really just taking my time. He on the other hand…the second he walks into the Nordstrom shoe department he is greeted by the kindest guys who totally get it. They get that guys love the men’s shoe department and finding that perfect pair but don’t want the whole leisurely experience that us gals enjoy…they get bored, that’s why every time he gets a new pair of shoes, his first stop is always Nordstrom. They always have (more than) what he wants, the best service and he leaves the men’s shoe department happy every.single.time.
