We were recently contacted by the company Mediband, a company based in Sydney Australia, who specialise in high quality customised silicone medical wristbands, each can even be personalised with phrases, logos and artwork to suit you. From allergy bracelets to diabetes, wallet cards, multilingual bands and other medical bands too. We were asked to write a feature about their medical products, so I had a browse through their website and felt rather strongly about making a post, for personal reasons because of family close to me, I think it's important to spread the word to help possibly save someone's life! We were sent the I am pregnant band to advertise, I feel very strongly about getting these out there, not only could it help you but your unborn child too!
Not only does it state that you are pregnant but also which month you're currently in & also a large space on the inside of the band to write any extra details you think is needed! (eg. gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, pre eclampsia etc). It's actually something I've worried about I'm the past, especially when I was pregnant and those first few months where I wasn't showing yet, what if something had happened to me out and about and the doctors couldn't tell I was pregnant? There are certain medications which cannot be used when you're pregnant so having a Mediband can save the doctors lots of time trying to find out, it's right there on your wrist, on show! Even if you're healthy, you can even wear an ICE Mediband (in case of emergency), again if something was to happen, all your details are on you to hand from the beginning!
