This guy is roomates with another Saudi student in the US to learn english. Their apartment was voluntarily searched on Monday night. Neither he, nor his roomates are suspects.
The interview aired on the major Boston stations ALLL day Tuesday. It was kinda hard to watch. When asked if his friends did it he said “No, theyr’e good people” and the reporters were like how do you know they’re good people? It was ridiculous. You could see him snapping when a reporter asked him what they do in his apartment and he was like “What do YOU do in your home?”.
If I were in a forgein country where I wasn’t a native speaker and I was in the same situation I would not have lasted as long as he did. It was hard to watch - I felt bad for him.
