MeatBalls Recipe
If you love any type of meat than you will love meatballs. I like many others really enjoy having meatballs and its also true there are countless recipes out there but honestly to get one you like is rather hard. I am not saying this recipe is perfected but if you have similar taste buds to mine than you`ll love this meatballs recipe. It is also quite easy to make, for most of the part you just need a blender and you are pretty much done. Basically anyone can make it and is suitable for people of all ages. The great thing about meatballs are that you can never get tired of them. And it taste divine with almost anything. Anyway this particular meatballs recipe can be enjoyed on its own as well as with any meal (e.g. your healthy lunch meal), goes well with any type of salad.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 lb. ground beef (preferably sirloin)
- 1/2 cup of whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 TB half and half
- 2 TB Parmesan
- 2 TB minced garlic (you can add more)
- 1/4 cup minced parsley
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- salt and fresh pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Heat up you tomato sauce.
- Blend all ingredients except olive oil, in a bowl, shape mixture into 12 or so balls the same size
- Heat the oil in a large enough skillet to hold the balls with out crowding.
- Brown on all sides over medium heat.
- Once browned put in sauce for at least 15 minutes.
