A sun-baked gate guard photographed during a trip to the Travis Air Power Expo.  This F-4 is a “C” model designed specifically for U.S. Air Force use, and was last operated by the California Air National Guard, based at Fresno and arrived at the museum in June of 1987.  Over 5,000 Phantoms  of all models were built between 1958 and 1979.  Nikon D300 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
