@Vietnam People’s Air Force Museum, Hanoi, Vietnam
July 2008
This somber Phantom is on display at the Vietnam People’s Air Force Museum located on the former VPAF Bach Mai Airfield. The museum tells the history of the Vietnam People’s Air Force (VPAF) from its formation in 1954 through to the present day, with a heavy emphasis on what we commonly refer to as the Vietnam War (the Vietnamese refer to it as the American War). While there are intact ex-US aircraft on display, this was the most intact Phantom seen among the many museums I toured. Nikon D70 w/28-85mm, processed with Aperture and Macphun CK.
