Craving fries? Just follow the golden lights from these billboards in Chicago. Apparently they’re viewable from up to three miles away. Really nice idea although maybe a little irresponsible with light pollution and all. But I guess in Chicago that’s not so much of a concern. It’s too bad the tagline “Best Fries on the Planet” gets lost because I think that’s what makes this more of a concept and not just an interestingly-fabricated billboard.
The “fry lights” as Leo Burnett are calling them are part of a bigger campaign leveraging one of McDonald’s most beloved products. No idea what the other components of the campaign are, but I’m excited to find out.
