Maybelline - Super Stay 7 Days

By Sarahhhp @SarahhhP

There's nothing I love more than a good nail polish. I have a few faves in what is quite an extensive collection comprising a lot of different brands, but up until very recently I had never tried a single nail polish from the Maybelline range (shock horror).
I was first drawn to these particular polishes as part of my neverending quest to uncover the perfect minty shade - i.e. mint enough to not be considered turquoise, yet not pale enough to wash out my pasty fingertips. 'Mint For Life' seemed like it could be a contender in this instance, and after seeing it raved about by the likes of Lily Pebbles and Anna (Vivianna Does Make Up), I thought I would give it a go.
Needless to say, it did not disappoint. Perfect shade, perfect formula and most of all - the 'one swipe and you're done' kind of brush that gives a real sense of satisfaction when it's in action. I loved it so much in fact, that after a week of wear and very little 'chippage' to show for it, I decided it was necessary that I delved further and explored a few more of the colours within the range.
I had seen Essie Button pick up the shade 'Berry Stain' in one of her vlogs and as the purples in my collection are somewhat limited when compared to most other colours I felt inclined to try it. Turns out it's a really beautiful shade - the only way I can think of is to describe it as having a hint of Ribena to it. Anyone with me on this? And as I am such a huge fan of the blackcurranty goodness, this immediately appealed to me!
And finally, the more subtle pick of the bunch yet the equally as lovely - Rose Poudre. If anyone is on the lookout for something that is suitable for the office then this little gem is a great contender. A dusky pink and one of those nail polishes that gives your hands an almost healthy 'glow' about them - perfect whether you're a bronzed babe or pasty princess!
Next time I'm in Boots I will undoubtedly be picking up some more additions from the range to put to the test, but so far so good - these polishes are pure perfection!
Has anyone else tried the Super Stay 7 days range? And if so, any recommendations on which shades to pick up next?
