Maxine starts seeing her friends picked off by the mysterious killer and an overly nosey PI John Labat (Bacon) dives into her past. She must clear up her past and deal with the threat if she is going to make it in Hollywood.

Verdict on MaXXXine

MaXXXine is a crime horror sequel following what happened to Maxine after the events in X. She has conquered the adult film industry and has set her sights on Hollywood. When she gets her big break, she must deal with a serial killer lurking in the shadows who knows things from her past.

This completes the trilogy on a high and returning to see Maxine does next is a welcome return from what we saw in X. It returns to see her determination to become a star take over while diving into the aftermath of what happened. There is a nice mystery about who the killer is mixed with the fear of the wider problem in the city. Maxine’s style is iconic and her determination to make it shines through the movie thanks to Mia Goth’s performance.

Final ThoughtsMaXXXine is a stylish conclusion to the trilogy.
